Folders will be kept for each child. Parents check it daily for important informational handouts such as homework and updates on class projects or upcoming celebrations.

We reward positive behavior with our classroom behavior charts. Each day your child has the ability to earn one sticker/stamp for good behavior. When they have collected four stickers they earn a trip to the treasure box! To better communicate with you about your child’s day, inside their folders you will find a progress report. If they earned a sticker that day it will be noted with another sticker or a stamp.

Parents re-enforce good behavior by encouraging their child and letting them know how proud they are when they do well. We want everyone to make it to the treasure box!
Why Rolly Pollies? It's not just a child's body that needs exercise, their brain does too! Let Rolly Pollies get your 3 and 4 year olds brain "fit" for school in this preschool style program. Children will engage in the exploration of literature, journal activities to develop expressive language, craft projects that focus on cooperation, sharing and social skills, circle time with calendar and math based activities, community service projects and of course the physical fitness and motor development you and your child love about Rolly Pollies. Running from September through June, all the skills your child will need to be successful in school will be developed here through fine and gross motor skill activities! Register early, class size is limited to 12 children and we will have 2 instructors.

Goals for the Session include: Daily Calendar Time; discussing days, months and seasons; reviewing with a weekly focus on alphabet letters A-Z. Learning and craft activities will relate to either the holiday, season or letter being learned that week. The sessions also focus on learning numbers, counting and basic math skills.

Dress: Children should be dressed appropriately for play; comfortable pants / shorts and shirts. We also ask that you leave a complete change of clothes clearly labeled in a zip-lock back in your child’s cubby. Should the child have an accident or get messy during an art project they will have clean clothes to put on.
Snacks: Parents are responsible for providing healthy and nutritious snacks for their children to enjoy during our designated snack time. We ask that you please avoid snacks containing high sugar content as this can sometimes cause contention among other children and may also cause hyperactivity. No peanut products as well. Sippy cups or sports bottles are highly recommended to help avoid spills!
